Who is Jon Walker?

Jon Walker is a unicorn. What is a unicorn? A unicorn is a mythical animal typically represented as a horse with a single straight horn projecting from its forehead. Now, I am not a horse, nor do I have a horn, but I am rare and difficult to find, like a unicorn. What does that mean exactly? Well, a unicorn has a combination of many attributes that make it special. I have many skills not often found in only one person - e.g., a unicorn. I am a veteran director, producer, editor, shooter, writer, designer, photographer, and leader. Having attained a certain level of expertise in all of those disciplines helped me to create the work you’ll find on my site. Many times, I have to go it alone, but my current position has afforded me the luxury of collaborating with some valuable teammates to help me grow and expand my creative tool kit.

What, then, is my most valuable skill? Peace of mind. When I’m on the job, everyone I work with knows, "Jon's got this!" I have over 20 years of experience in branding, marketing, building, and advertising, spanning from one of the world's coolest ice creams to America’s most-watched automotive how-to program. High-pressure environments are my comfort zone. I think fast on my feet and can pivot when necessary to get the job done. So, If you're looking for a unicorn eager to help you grow your business, click here to contact me and let's get started!

Check out my IMDB credits and watch some episodes of Detroit Muscle here at PowerNation to see some of my work. You can also watch some examples here.

For a formal resume, you can download a PDF showcasing my journey thus far and all that led me to meet you.

PS: I do not have an actual horn growing from my head, but recently was injured on set and had seven staples punched into my scalp. After I received medical treatment, I returned to work and finished the day. You can see a picture of the aftermath HERE, but I warn you, it’s not for the faint of heart. It serves as a reminder for me that hard work and dedication are necessary for success.
